Update on Research and Such

My topic has been picked. Exciting, I know. I plan on writing on Red Hot Chili Peppers and their visual image (ads, promos, album art, etc.) I really like this topic since RHCP is one of my favorite bands, only problem with my topic is that research is extremely difficult. There are hundreds of biographies on the band that gloss over their image, but none that really have a primary focus of their image. I figure I will continue to research, hopefully find some more articles and books directed towards my focus of RHCP, and perhaps I will even begin some more detailed interview research. In the past when I have done research on bands as a visual image I get addresses, emails, and numbers to people who are associated with the album. This awesomely enough has allowed me to contact some really cool bands like Burning Brides, Devil Wears Prada, Onasis, and many more. I have a feeling I am not going to be as successful as I would like to with this method because RHCP is an extremely high profile band. If I don't find some more success this week, I'm going to go back to the drawing board, perhaps explore some old interests of mine with art. We will see!
